Emily is passionate about working with others to develop deeper resilience, honor their own stories and experiences, and meeting clients where they are in their journey of healing. She seeks to develop safety, empowerment, and a collaborative dynamic in the counseling relationship. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate, she assists teens, individual adults, and couples in navigating a variety of concerns such as:
- Anxiety & depression
- Life transitions
- Identity & self-esteem
- Grief
- Trauma & abuse
- Spiritual distress (including church hurt and religious trauma)
- Relationship conflict
Emily graduated from Richmont Graduate University with a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. She is also a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA). Her background is in nonprofit and ministry, which has cultivated a passion for serving and advocating for others.
In her free time, Emily enjoys cooking with her husband, listening to podcasts, exploring new foods, and tending to her sourdough starter.
