Morgan is passionate about meeting each client where they are and tailoring counseling to meet each client’s individual need. She aims to help clients identify their unique strengths and works together with them to reach health and healing. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, Morgan works with children, teens, adults, premarital couples, and families dealing with an array of concerns including:
Morgan has specific training in Child-Centered Play Therapy to help children process emotions, resolve conflicts, and develop social skills. She also has experience in Child-Parent Relationship Training, which helps parents to connect with their child, problem-solve difficulties, and facilitate growth. Morgan views the counseling relationship as collaborative, giving clients a voice in the counseling process so that they feel invested in the goals they are working toward. She is also a certified facilitator of the PREPARE/ENRICH assessment, a tool that helps couples gain a better understanding of each other.
Morgan received a Masters of Arts in Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Appalachian State University. When she is not in the office, Morgan enjoys spending time with family and friends, trying new recipes, volunteering at her church, and traveling.
