Session Fees
Standard session fees vary by counselor depending on level of education, specialization, and experience. Although each counselor’s standard session fee may be a little different, our current general fee structure is the following:
- Doctoral-level Counselor: $180/session
- Licensed Clinical Supervisor: $180/session
- Licensed Counselor: $145-170/session
- Licensed Counselor Associate: $130-135/session
- Clinical Mental Health Interns: $50/session
Most intake sessions are 75 minutes and that fee is prorated based on the counselors standard session fee.
All counselors offer a sliding scale fee to accommodate various financial needs. This scale is available on a limited basis to those who qualify based on household income. Please Contact us for more information about your eligibility.
Insurance
We work with insurance companies as an out-of-network provider. The way this works is you would pay for your session at time of service, and we would provide you with a service receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement according to your policy’s coverage. We find that many of our clients who seek reimbursement do receive a portion back; however, as every policy is different, please contact your insurance company with questions regarding your specific coverage.
FSA/HSA Cards and EAPs
We are able to accept Flexible Spending Account or Health Savings Account cards as payment for counseling sessions. If you choose to pay using this method, please let your counselor know if you need a service receipt. We are unfortunately unable to contract with EAPs at this time.
How long are the counseling sessions?
A standard counseling session lasts 50 minutes, and a play therapy session lasts 45 minutes. Intake sessions are typically 75 minutes. Sometimes you and your counselor may agree to schedule a session that is longer or shorter than the standard length. The fees for sessions that are different than the standard length and will be prorated according to the standard session fee.
