She walks with clients through ups and downs – assessing negative life stories and relational hardship, offering empathy and space for sharing and understanding deep emotional pain, and helping increase strengths and resources to overcome challenges.

Crystal graduated from Northcentral University with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in English with a concentration in Professional Writing from UNC-Charlotte and is a published journalist. She has experience working as a victim advocate with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. She also has experience as a volunteer crisis counselor, helping those experiencing suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, and grief during the COVID-19 pandemic. Crystal has additional training in narrative therapy and emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and she is certified in Prepare/Enrich pre-marital/marital counseling.
Crystal enjoys traveling and camping with her husband, kids, and fur babies. When she’s not taking in nature’s beauty, you’ll find her curled up with a good book, a chill playlist, and a snuggly pup.
