Crystal O’Gorman, MA, LMFTA

Crystal believes our relationships with ourselves and others deeply impact our mental health. She understands how those connections and the stories of our lives shape our reality. Crystal strives to provide a safe space where every person can feel comfortable sharing their feelings and experiences. She believes everyone deserves to feel heard, accepted, valued, and celebrated.

She walks with clients through ups and downs – helping them gain clarity about difficult patterns in life; creating space for sharing, understanding, and allowing deep emotional pain to be expressed and processed; offering compassion and a roadmap to self compassion; developing confidence in one’s ability to move forward in life; and increasing strengths, resources, and solutions to overcome current and future challenges.

As a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist Associate (LMFTA), Crystal supports couples, families, individual teens, and individual adults, addressing:

  • Anxiety & depression
  • Suicidal ideation
  • Relationship conflict
  • Grief & loss
  • Trauma & abuse
  • Social justice issues
  • Difficult life stages & crisis experiences
  • Self-esteem, identity, & personality
  • Premarital, marital, infidelity, and separation counseling

Crystal graduated from Northcentral University with a master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. She has past experience working as a victim advocate with survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. She also has experience as a volunteer crisis counselor, helping those experiencing suicidal thoughts, depression, anxiety, grief, and trauma during the COVID-19 pandemic. Crystal has additional training in narrative therapy and cognitive processing therapy. She has completed advanced training in emotionally focused therapy (EFT), and she is certified in Prepare/Enrich premarital/marital counseling.

Crystal enjoys traveling in the US and abroad as well as camping with her husband, kids, and fur babies. When she’s not taking in nature’s beauty, you’ll find her curled up with a good book, a chill playlist, and a snuggly pup.
